The Friendside service
Friendside provides tools for friends to plan activities, coordinate arrangements, and organize shared expenses and album links. These terms describe use of that service. For the iOS software license, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies separately.
Your account and access
Use an account you are authorized to access and protect your device and sign-in credentials. Your access to a shared activity depends on its membership and roles. Do not impersonate another person, misuse invitation links, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
Content you share
You remain responsible for the content you add and for having the rights and permissions needed to share it. Do not share unlawful content, violate another person’s privacy, or upload content you are not entitled to use. Providing content to a shared activity makes it available to participants according to the activity’s permissions.
Friendside needs to store, process, and display the content you submit to provide the features you use. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content to Friendside. External album services have their own terms, and sharing a link does not change the source service’s access permissions.
Plans, locations, and expenses
Participants are responsible for confirming their own arrangements, permissions, and payments. Location, map, weather, timing, and notification information can be delayed or unavailable; use your judgment and confirm important details. Friendside is not an emergency or safety-monitoring service.
Shared expense and repayment entries are records supplied by participants. Friendside does not hold funds, perform bank transfers, or determine whether a real-world payment has been completed. Check amounts and recipient information before making a payment through your chosen payment service.
Paid features
In-app purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the purchase terms shown by Apple. See Purchases & subscriptions for personal ad-free access, renewal, cancellation, restoration, and refund information. The website does not sell subscriptions or accept payments.
Privacy and third-party services
The Privacy policy describes data processing and available choices. Apple, Google/Firebase, Cloudflare, and external album providers provide services involved in some features; their terms also apply to use of their services.
Changes and contact
Features, supported platforms, and these terms can change as Friendside develops. The date above identifies this version. These terms do not exclude rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
For questions about these terms, shared-content concerns, or app issues, contact Friendside at [email protected]. For privacy matters, contact [email protected].
